Highlighting American Pellet Supply

From time to time, we like to take the time to highlight our grant recipients and the good work they're doing around the Hoosier State.  A few weeks ago, one of OED's project officers from the U.S. Department of Energy was in the state, so it gave us a great excuse to stretch our legs and venture outside of the city for a bit.

One day, we headed down to Carlisle, which is about forty-five minutes south of Terre Haute, to visit American Pellet Supply, one of the recipients of State Energy Program (SEP) dollars.  American Pellet Supply takes paper, cardboard, corn stover, and crop wastes and develops bio-heat pellets, briquettes, bio-landscape and bio-animal bedding, and bio-pet litter.  It's a small facility (for now!), but this company has a developed a pretty interesting product and has a wide variety of options available for the future.
