Horlander Enterprises: Lighting the Way

Horlander Enterprises (d/b/a NuYale) in Jeffersonville, Indiana is another benefactor of EECBG funding. The company is known for having an environmentally friendly dry-cleaning process so it was a natural fit for them to increase their conservation at the plant.

Horlander Enterprises received $21,642.53 for lighting retrofits in their plant. Funding was used to retrofit an existing 240 lights with more energy efficient fixtures and ballasts. They have seen $50,000 in savings from these improvements!

Congrats and keep up the good work on conservation and cleaning (dry-cleaning that is)!

The Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) is funded by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 through the U.S. Department of Energy; it is administered by the Indiana Office of Energy Development.
